Wangari Trinity Ring with Akoko Nan
Wangari was a renowned Kenyan social, environmental and political activist. She founded the Green Belt Movement, an environmental organization focused on environmental conservation, community empowerment and women's rights. For her contribution to sustainable development, democracy and peace, Wangari was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, the first environmentalist and African woman Nobel Laureate.
Each piece is hand-wrought by Nepalese Artisans with an Adinkra symbol set on one side and semi-precious stones on the other in a open design. Hand-carved motifs adorn the entire surface, making each ring one-of-a-kind.
